We want to show you how using illuminated signs, fairy lights and light up letters can make a dramatic impact on your wedding video. Not only do they look great, they allow for some fun photo opportunities as well as perfect evening lighting on your dancefloor.
There are so many options now from illuminated initials, light up 'LOVE' letters, huge neon hearts or an illuminated sign with your names or a phrase. We love the sign 'I bet you look good on the dance floor' with an arrow pointing you in the right direction!
There are various options to hire these, if you are doing a DIY wedding, you can hire giant illuminated letters from numerous companies (I have listed some below). You can also find many used lights and props on eBay which you can buy cheap, use on your wedding day and then sell on again after. If you are getting married in a hotel or popular wedding venue then speak to your contact there as they may have props that you can use or hire from them to decorate your reception room and dance floor.
If you haven't got the space or if light up letters aren't in keeping with your wedding style, then a canopy of fairy lights or festoon lights strung from beams can work just as well to add some mood lighting and to prettify your wedding photos. These also look great on the dance floor and add the perfect amount of lighting for your wedding video!
